Paparazzi

Here's my cover of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi..
I know I didn't hit some notes correctly.. sorry =D
didn't wanna twice record the song..

Paparazzi

We are the crowd
We're quick coming out
Got my flash on it's true
Need that picture of you
It's so magical
We'd be so fantastical

Leather and jeans
Garage glamorous
Not sure what it means
But this photo of us
It don't have a price
Ready for those flashing lights
'Cause you know that baby I

I'm your biggest fan
I'll follow you until you love me
Papa-paparazzi
Baby there's no other superstar
You know that I'll be your
Papa-paparazzi

Promise I'll be kind
But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Baby you'll be famous
Chase you down until you love me
Papa-paparazzi

I'll be a girl backstage at your show
Oh the ropes and guitars
Yeah cause you'll know
I'm styling between the sets
Eyeliner and cigarettes

Shadow is burnt
Yellow dance and we turn
My lashes are dry
Purple teardrops I cry
It don't have a price
Loving you is cherry pie
'Cause you know that baby I

I'm your biggest fan
I'll follow you until you love me
Papa-paparazzi
Baby there's no other superstar
You know that I'll be your
Papa-paparazzi

Promise I'll be kind
But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Baby you'll be famous
Chase you down until you love me
Papa-paparazzi

Oh my God!

Remember when you told your friend after she's been mugged that "this is what you should've done!"? Well, I am one person who talks s0o much like that whenever somebody tells me some bad stories/incidents which have happened to them which in my opinion could have been prevented only if they weren't stupid..

Well last Tuesday night, I think I've learned my lesson.. You see, some times some things don't really happen the way you planned them to happen.. or the way you thought you'd handle them.. and most of the times, the only best thing you could do about it (after) is just to realize the lesson it taught you and make sure you don't become stupid when you need yourself to become a brave genius..

And so since I do not want to go into any details anymore and make this just short.. well.. I was harassed.. physically and unfortunately emotionally.. I was so affected I cried myself to bed that night..

To all you girls out there.. just please be cautious all the time.. Not all people who appears to be friendly are really friendly.. Most of the times they just do whatever it takes and I mean WHATEVER it takes to get from you what they want.. and I swear you wouldn't like it..

I just thank God nothing more terrible that what I've experienced happened to me..

Surprise!

When was the last time you've ever been.. surprised? Ako, just yesterday! I went to the City Market with my bestfriend Karen and my cousin Kim.. I bought a CD then some doughnuts then we st0od in front of some small shop waiting for my bestfriend's key to be duplicated. As I was so impatiently standing there.. came this split second.. somebody whom i've known long ago and whom i've not seen in donkey's years just appeared in front of me and said "Oy!"

I really was in shock to have seen him.. I didn't even thought I'll ever see him even come our high school reunion. But well, I just did.. and I was just so unprepared. I think I literally glared at him the whole time he was looking at me. It felt like I was seeing a ghost, haha! I replied back with a very very soft whisper-like "Haaaaaiiiiiii...." Can't really describe my reaction but I know I might receive the "Shock look of the year award" for that.

He looked pretty much the same.. though I thought he seemed to have a fairer skin tone.. His body built was also just as perfect as I would've wanted it.. You see the last time I saw him (Baccalaureate Mass at the school), he was really gaining weight.. and I thought it didn't suit him well.. He also still have that same look on his face when he smiles and I though it was real nice.. oh, well..

After the "Oy!" and the "Hiiii..." He went ahead where he was going.. I was still in shock but I managed to make my eyes follow him for as far as It could..

It was.. well.. a nice experience.. a shocking one.. It gave my heart chills.. something I'm still not sure I'm having.. or I wanted to have back again.. I don't know.. blah blah..

Next time, I hope not to get such kinda surprise..
It just made a part of me confused as a ticking clock..

I don't want it.. anymore..

What?! A Blackout?!

I work from Mondays thru Fridays.. and aside from eating and sleeping.. I don't have much time to do any other things at all.. and so I always make it a point to be able to do what I want during weekends.. be it to sleep.. to watch a movie or a DVD.. to go out with friends, etc.. Last weekend I planned to watch a Korean TV series and finish it since there were only two episodes left.. but to my worst surprise.. there have a city-wide electric blackout due some transformers which exploded.. I don't know.. Aside from not being able to know what to do (I really wasn't in the m0od to go malling or go out of the house), the heat of the sun felt like it was melting the whole house.. It was super duper angry! The blackout went for two days.. can you imagine?! Actually, during the aftern0ons of Saturday and Sunday we have been given some time with electricity but well it's just not enough.. Sleeping is really difficult when it's hot! :( Oh, well.. Life..

Uno Stacko with Friends

I can't believe I wasn't able to write even one post for May.. hmm.. where've I been? haha!

Anyway highway.. Last June 11, Maan and I spent a night at our friends', Derick, home.

We actually have been imposing ourselves over their comfy home for a little while now, heehee.. We often just chat about, bitch about and then laugh about literally any thing.. Of course eating (coffee included) is never out of the plan. Come midnight and we still don't want to sleep yet, we play cards.. we watch funny videos in youtube.. we play jackstones.. we sing (I/Kuya sing, Liann plays the beat box, Joshua/Kuya plays the guitar.. and the star.. Maan.. just watches, hehe)..

So last June 11, we thought of playing a new game, hehe.. and that's obviously Uno Stacko, hehe. I cannot remember the time we started to play but I know for sure that we did play just one game that night for a long time.. around three years, haha! The consequence for the one who'll make the tower topple over is as simple as "make three cups/mugs of coffee" (for energy).. hehe.

It was really fun when we played that cause even if the consequence was really really simple, everybody played as if they're professional uno stacko players, haha! That night, we managed to build the tower up to 22 stories..

It was Joshua's, Kuya's younger brother, last move which caused the tower to collapse, haha!

The next morning, we played the game again and we managed to build it up to 24 stories.. :) we improved quite a bit =D

I was only able to take a picture when it reached the 23rd row.. but well.. we really did made it up to 24, =p

Next time we'll try 30, haha! *wishful thinking*

Here's the edited video of the game that morning.. :) Enjoy!

Welcome Party!

So it's been a long long time since my friends and I gathered altogether without an occasion to celebrate. We usually hang out in mam Tina's very comfy home and just sing and eat and chat. This gathering actually happened on the 5th of April (delayed post as usual, haha!). I asked them to come to the venue at 5 (hoping they'll be around at 6) but they all came at 7 (true-blooded Filipinos, harhar). I actually arranged that party because sir Geri (one of the best friends I ever really have) arrived in the Phils from Qatar that very day and he wanted to have that party so he can surprise all of them (I was the only one he informed about his arrival).

It was really unfortunate that I wasn't able to convince mam Liza and mam Win to come to the party (my plan was we were supposed to talk about a summer Puerto Galera outing so everybody should come and voice their opinions out); I just don't know how to convince them without spilling the beans.

And so anyway, when everybody committed to come came, we did what we usually do first.. EAT! I knew that there will be no more f0od left for him if he wasn't en route yet. blah.. blah.. blah.. So when he finally arrived at mam Tina's (fortunately there were still some f0od available for him, hehe.. but the rice has all been eaten up, haha!), as expected they were all stunned and very very surprised. I kind of felt envious that I didn't feel the same shocking feelings they have had at that very moment (anyway I have had my share of that shock too, hehe) but I thought it's okay, hehe.

Then we chat with him, laugh with him, bitch with him.. until the rice finally got cooked and we ate with him, haha! We also had ice cream courtesy of Ar-Ar so we stayed some more time in the kitchen table before we proceeded to the Salas to sing.

I was personally a little too shy (I do not know about the perfect term to describe it, hehe) when I first laid eyes on him after more than a year.. I don't know.. it kinda felt different.. One thing's for sure though, I was really really glad that he came back home.. I really missed him! =)

Here's some of the pictures we took from there that day.

from left: Maan, Es-Em, Derick, Lory Anne and Ar-Ar

the very same people =D

from left: sir Geri, mam Tina and sir Mai

I am the third person from the right

bestfriends!

and then some group pictures, hehe..

We stayed only til around 10 or 1030 because we still have got work the coming day (manic Monday, hehe). We spent only a little time together that day, but it was indeed one happy moment of my life. Missing someone is really terrible so...
